Goodbye peeps

I've found making the decision to leave FOCUS behind this year one of the most difficult decisions I've ever made. I have a great love for the ministry and especially the students. So I thought I'd take some time thanking them for the encouragement they've been over the last year. I'm greatful to (in no particular order)...

Aaron and Evan for working though studies last year and teaching me patience. Thanks to Michael for hanging out and learning all of Collosians and being prepared to tackle the big topics. Also to Nathan, Tommy, Isaac and Ed for their enthusiasm and support. To Nathaniel, Nick and Alan and all the work they've put into the Con group. To the ladies of FOCUS Erica and Lizzie particualrly. To Shaun for being a honest and helpful critic. Also to Geo for his ideas and prayerfulness. A big thankyou to Tim our FOCUS president he's one of the best we've had. And to the all the other FOCUS people out there a big thankyou for all you've done to support me and help me out.

wow! big things happen in Tasmania still!

I'm sorry to hear that you've left.
I thought you did a great job last year. Especially with all that stuff you did sitting down and listening to everyone.

What will you be doing at Crossroads?

I just went on a Youth Convention that Stu White spoke at. Small world when you talk about Tasmania!

Hope the transition goes well. I'll pray for you!

Hey Jolly,

This is sad but okay news all at once. I'm glad to see your honesty in giving credit where it's due and acknowledging weaknesses where that's due.

I think Mikey gets the (strange ;-) ) world of Jolly and will be the sort of person who can give you the support (and kicks up the bum!?) that you need. So I pray it will all turn out well.

Best wishes mate. May God keep, encourage and grow you, Christine, Sam and Mikey and all the people you guys minister to.

with much love,
your sister Fi

Moik, I've been praying for you ever since I spoke to Christine. Praise God that it all will turn out right and for His glory. I'll continue to pray and I hope you'll update us as you go along.

Blessings on you my friend.

Well done, Mike!

It sounds like the right decision and a brave one to make when the easier thing would be to just "keep going in faith". It sounds like you've prioritised a lifetime of ministry as you and christine, rather than making these few years of apprenticeship everything.

Yay! exciting times and well done for all that you achieved at FOCUS

luv from amy
