We caned them! I got to cover it for the paper and it was awesome! Thousands of people out there cheering them on!
You should have heard the cheer on the bus when I announced it to the kids on our return journey from Maria Island.
Bloody NSW. I was going to go check out the last session but it was all over 35 overs into the day.
Pablo's mum: I was there too! I saw you there out on the field after the game, Angus, and couldn't help being a bit jealous... but I was there. It's great going to domestic games cause you have access to the whole ground and can just wander round until you find the bestest spot. I ended up standing with all the Tassie players' wives, girlfriends and families, so they all came over real close with the Cup. It was a truly historic moment, and I'm so glad that I wagged work (with my boss's permission, if that still counts as wagging) to see the last few wickets and the presentations! Yay Tassie!!
