blue. i agree with stan and clare :-)
christine prob gets more hits because there are more people actively reading blogs in the US than in Aus. If you have email updates available (feedburner does this), that might boost your australian audience a bit.

I would actually go for keeping the original. I think the others look a little kitch.
Of course, you don't need to take the advice of a some-time-reader, one time commenter!
If you are going to change I would suggest 2.1, the Blue is more pleasant than the green. But I like the current look of your site the Border around the Title is clean, and not having different colours allows for consentration on the text. But if it will mean more people will visit this site and read the great stuff then bring on the change.
Having looked at all 3, I really couldn't say that they'd make any difference. They're all too similar to make any real impact.
That's what I reckon, anyway.
