Kinder Surprise... an epic tale of woe
23 September 2006
I bought a Kinder Surprise… and I got this toy...
I mean what on earth? It Looks like something a crazy person dreamed up. what are those wheel things for? Kinder Surprise what WERE you thinking... have you gone insane?? Are you smoking crack??
You can tell I was upset...
...so I wrote a letter (in big pencil print with spelling mistakes and smudges)
...put it in an envelope (addressed to Mr Kinder Surprise)

Awesome! Maybe you should call Today Tonight too!
this is too too funny :) I love it, let me know what Mr Kinder Surprise says.
I love kinder surprises.
I hate Kinder Surprises-not actually safe for little kids - and some pretty odd looking toys!!!
I loved your post - make sure you share your reply with us.
Thanks for your amusing post - I was feeling a little 'down' but am laughing again now. :-)
Thats feeble that you were buying a Kinder Suprise anyway.
I thought it was chocolate for feeblers.
Gd luck with the letter anyway, ill be interested to hear what happens :)
I had a friend who wrote to 'mr cabbage patch' when her doll's head fell off....she got sent a death certificate for the doll.
Heard of a guy who ate a pack of Ferrero Rochers he had bought for his mother for mother's day. He sent in a letter complaining that they tasted to good, so they sent him a replacement pack.
Death certificate! That's so funny. We were told, in all seriousness, that Cabbage Patch dolls were evil and cursed by Satanists before being shipped from the factory. Now I have proof.
I take it you have time to meet for lunch this week then?
i've never liked kinder surprise chocolate :-P. But funny... tho i don't see any of your letters back to front.
stupid Mr. Kinder Surprise. He always lets me down. Now, Mr. Kinder Bueno, on the other hand, is always there for me when times get tough.
I think I am going to write to Mr Rocher, Mr Lindt and Mr Cadburys.
Too funny! You cannot buy Kinder Surprise in the US. But we live close to the Canadian border, so we are familiar with them. Even as an adult, I'm always interested to find out what toy I'm getting. We have a number of them floating about the house.
The chocolate itself is not that impressive.
I remember as a kid, the same feeling of anticipation when digging through a box of Cracker-Jax for the prize. Do you have those in Australia?
No Cracker-Jax in Oz, at least as far as I'm aware. When I was in high school there was a big Tazo craze, from packets of chips. I had quite a big collection, but never did anything with them!
