The best problem in the world to have?

Too much money! Am I the most successful fundraiser in MTS apprenticeship history? Well unlikely... I have however managed to raise extra money above and beyond my wage. In fact more than $2000 extra... this I'm told by MTS minions in high places is pretty rare.

My reason for posting this is two fold.

Firstly I want to again thank all the people who helped and contributed to my MTS apprenticeship over the two years I did it. I am extremely grateful and have been blessed by people's generosity. I am humbled that people believe in my Christian work and abilities.

Secondly I'm faced with the question of what should I do with the money? The Crossroads powers that be have offered the following options.

1. TBT for 2010
2. Jake Bevan and his MTS apprenticeship
3. A Crossroads Data Projector Laptop
4. UFC work by Mikey Lynch

What do you think?

I did suggest you pray about this, but since its not a spiritual enough topic I say UFC. Crossroads can use a overhead projector surely ;)

You know, for two grand you could get a pretty sweet XBox and a hi def LCD one metre-wide flatscreen... and if Jake and Mikey and everyone at TBT and Crossroads wanted to use it, they know where your house is...

...or the other options.

But an Xbox would be pretty flippin' sweet.

I would say data projector. Tech stuff is always the last thing to get money, is very hard to raise money specifically for and is increasingly important to have.

Spend it on crack. That's what I'd do.

split between jake for mts and ufc. Because its in the lines of what your supporters supported you do to if that makes sense

Not on the list, but one day it would be good to have our own PA and other music equipment so we don't have to keep on using Ant's and Huw's. Something for the future, maybe. I love Euros. It's gonna be funny using Aussie money again.

we've already got a data projector and i think a new (2nd hand) computer so that option is not needed. i vote for Jake B.

Hmm, $2k is a heap, you could easily split it 4 or whatever ways and still make some good contributions.

While I do like Angus' suggestion (:p), I'm intrigued by the fact that these ideas are all cross-roads-centric (as far as I can make out), really. I guess if it's really MTS money then that makes sense, but I'd be pretty tempted to throw a bunch at World Vision or some such too.... Tasmania isn't the only place that needs love! Good to remember to work for God at home, but don't only work at home if you can help it.
Just my thought.
