In the beginning...

Exactly one year ago a humble window cleaning bloke launched a blog (supportMIKE) which he hoped would help him to raise enough money for a ministry apprenticeship.

Fast forward to a year and 282 posts later. I'm getting close to a thousand hits a week on my little site and approaching 50,000 for the last year. I've traveled overseas. I have a dream job in ministry. My name is the second most Googled Mike Jolly in the world. I'm engaged to a wonderful woman who I met through my blog. I'm about to embark on the next very exciting chapter of my life which see me travel to Germany to get married to her. God has been very good to me.

I'd especially like to thank for their blogging inspiration Suemas, Shiloh, Craig and Angus. Nixter also gets a special mention for being the first person to ever comment on my blog.

Most of all I'd like to thank you all my readers over the last year. I'm always humbled that people would be interested in me, my thoughts and life. I pray wherever you are in the world you are that this blog can be of some help to you in some way. As always for God's glory.
